Anna Östling is one of Sweden’s leading match racers, with two Women’s Match Racing World Championship titles and more than 15 years competing at the highest level of the sport. She has raced extensively on both the Women’s and Open World Match Racing Tours, winning the Open Grade 1 Oakcliff International in 2022.

Skipper of WINGS Sailing since 2009, Östling has led the team to World Championship titles in 2014 and 2016, the 2016 WIM Series Championship and the 2023 Women’s World Match Racing Tour title. The team has also won the inaugural Women’s Match Race Denmark in 2022, the Nordea Women’s Trophy in 2024 and the Aspen Bermuda Women’s Match Race in 2025. Östling represented Sweden at the 2012 London Olympics in the inaugural Olympic women’s match racing event.

WINGS Sailing has played an important role in developing women’s match racing, embracing new boats, formats and arenas, including M32 catamarans, and helping create new opportunities for female sailors. Through the WINGS Athletes Program, the team also supports young female athletes across different sports and works with the Swedish Sailing Federation to develop the next generation of female leaders in sailing.
