FranceTom started his sailing career with the Optimist class before moving on to the 420, then discovering match racing which he has been competing for the last five years.
He successfully took 3ᵉ place at the U23 Match Race European Championship in 2021 and 5ᵉ place at the U23 World Championship the same year. In 2024, on the World Match Racing Tour, his team won the Porto Montenegro Match Cup stage and finished 2ᵉ in Szczecin, Poland.
On the national level, Tom achieved 3ᵉ place in the French Espoir Match Race Championship in 2023, before becoming runners-up in France in 2024.
