The Macao Match Cup returns for its second year in 2026 as the opening stage of the 2026 World Match Racing Tour season. 12 competitors will compete FarEast 28R match racing sailboats to compete for the Macao Match Cup title, with a total prize of USD 100,000. The race will take place in the waters off the Macao Science Center, allowing spectators to watch from the shore. Hosting this event in Macao will help elevate the level of sailing competitions in the region.
