Now 34, Torvar has been competing on the World Match Racing Tour on and off since 2006 and was crowned world champion in 2017.
He has been based in Europe for the last several years and happily that meant Yacht Racing Life editor Justin Chisholm was able to record this interview with him in person in Palma, Mallorca.
