The World Match Racing Tour headed to Malaysia for the 11th Monsoon Cup. A new venue in Puteri Harbour and new boats, in the form of the FarEast 28R, faced the competitors in the final event of the 2015-6 season. At the top of the leaderboard there were three players all within 5 points of each other and each aiming for the World Championship title. Ian Williams’ GAC Pindar, Bjorn Hansen’s Nautiska Racing and Taylor Canfield’s US One. Joining them were nine other world class match racers all eyeing up the Tunku Laksamana Johor Trophy for the victor of the event and share of the US$ 350,000 prize pool.

A mix of sunshine, wind and the occasional monsoon downpour set the scene for a fantastic week of match racing.
