Josh and his team won the 2023 Bermuda Match Racing Championships earning their spot at the 2023 Bermuda Gold Cup. Josh got his start in the Optimist dinghy and is the last Bermuda sailor to win the RenaissanceRe Junior Gold Cup. Since then he moved on to the 29er and represented Bermuda at the 2008 WS Youth World Championships before having a stellar collegiate career in the USA team racing. Josh returned to Bermuda after university and is the RBYC’s full-time Senior Racing Coach. He is a regular competitor in the International One Design Fleet along with his match racing team, including Nathan Bailey, the RBYC’s Sailing Director. He is also the current skipper of the Club’s beloved Bermuda Fitted Dinghy, Contest III.
